What is Mindsets?

English Learners

With Mindsets, English Learners listen to the text of a Mindsets Challenge and the text of their responses in both their native language and in English. 

Students access translations, a picture dictionary, scaffolded words and text to speech  — all seamlessly integrated into the learning journey. 

Mindsets includes 3 versions of Spanish and 100+ other languages. If your students speak Haitian Creole, Brazilian Portugese, Arabic or Tagalong we have you covered.

Special Needs Students

Special needs students, including visually impaired students, have the flexibility to adjust the font size of a Mindsets Challenge  — making it larger or smaller to support their needs. 

Students on the spectrum can focus their attention when and where it matters by zooming in on one line or a few lines at a time. 

Students with dyslexia can choose a background color to suit their preferences from a wide range of color choices that personalize the Mindsets experience.

6C’s - for all students

Mindsets is the leader in integrating collaboration, communications, critical & computational thinking, citizenship and creativity (the 6C’s) for all students in the middle school math classroom. 

Students’ written, listening, oral and presentation skills improve as they collaborate with each other to solve a real-world problem in a Mindsets Challenge. 

As students make recommendations and decisions and justify their reasoning to complete the Challenge,  they exercise their executive function and higher-order thinking skills. 

Learning is fully integrated and supports our diverse classrooms!
